After adapting the Kindle to work as a Home Assistant dashboard the next problem to solve was how to mount it and keep it charged. I’m currently in a rented house so screwing something into the wall was a no go so instead I designed a mount for a shelf or table. I used Fusion 360 for modelling the design and printed it off on my own 3D printer. The design is fairly simple but allows a magnetic charging plug to be used making it easy to remove and return the kindle whilst still keeping it charged.
